Hot Dog Champion

I recently visited a church that was preparing for a spring children’s festival. The highlight of the day was a magic show in the afternoon. It seems to me like there is an obvious problem here. Last time I checked magic + religion = occult. Featuring a magic show a church function is like having a hot dog eating contest at the Ritz Carlton; you are sending a mixed message.
